    Description

These old money holders look great for their age.  Both companies were in Newark N.J.   Mohawk operated from 1852 to into the 1950s and made several types of tin lithographed toys.  Kirchof , I believe began in the early 1900s and are known primarily for their noise makers.  Think New Years Eve.  The Old King Cole bank bank was made by Mowhawk Metal Co. and has gold "pages."  The Simple Simon bank is from Kirchof and has yellow "pages.  Both banks can be opened with a thin coin or a thin screwdriver, if so desired.  Cute gift for someone in Finance or Banking or Teaching.
