Offered here AS-IS this Vintage New Old Stock Colibri Electro-Spark Butane Cigarette Lighter Rare Camel Cigarettes Collectible Sold AS-IS Read complete listing before purchase please. In message to seller please state you have read the entire. Never used, in the OEM packaging, with instruction book, like new mint outward appearance. PLEASE NOTE: These Are Sold As-Is for A Collectible Only, they have NEVER been filled with butane. Being from the 1960's to early 1970's the SEAL that holds the butane in, NO LONGER FUNCTIONS on the few we have tested the BUTANE JUST COMES RIGHT BACK OUT. We purchased several of these at an estate sale. The fellow that owned them was a retired R.J. Reynolds employee. He said he worked in the promotions department. He said these lighters were supposed to be a promotion item that Camel smokers would mail in for however after they received 500 demo lighters from Colibri something fell through and they scratched them as the promotion so they were never offered to the public. So according to him there were only 500 made. I have searched high and low and all over eBay, I haven't found another one of these.
