Description
This fantastic tin litho child's ice cream maker is marked Chandlee, Baltimore. Chandlee was a late 19th century early 20th century maker of china. as well as dolls, toys, and tin or metal products. The outside bucket is about 8 1/4" tall and about 7 3/4" across the top. The amazing graphics show two children throwing snowballs in a snow covered landscape near a snowman complete with pipe and top hat. There are some scratches and a spot of paint loss about dime size (4th picture). Age is apparent with some wear and spots of surface rust. The wooden handled crank mechanism works well turning the paddle inside the very clean inner can. An item like this seldom comes on the market. Please look closely at the pictures and ask any questions or address any concerns before bidding as this ice cream maker will sell as found as is.
