LGB 1981 100th Anniversary Jubilee Set + 4 Add-on Cars 1982, 1983, 1984 & 1985

This is a mint factory new, complete LGB 100th year (1881-1981) Anniversary Jubilee Passenger Set with the 4 add-on cars that were issued one at a time from 1982 to 1985. The sets were made initially for European distribution only. This set was one of those as it has the European style transformer with the 2 prong plug (these can be used in the US with a conversion plug, or the set runs with any standard US DC style transformer). The set and 4 add-on cars were all made in Germany. The set includes the Stainz locomotive, 2 passenger cars, the transformer, track power lock on, 4 figures, 12 pcs. of 1100 curve track (4ft circle), and all original manuals/brochures/paperwork. Each add-on car is factory new in its original box, and the 1985 Postal Car has factory installed metal wheels and lights. Both the locomotive and Postal Car have been bench tested and all functions (forward/reverse, and lights) work properly. The set box and car boxes are all in excellent condition. This is truly a exquisite set honoring the 100+ year legacy of LGB, and would make an outstanding addition to any LGB collection or layout.
